Having scoliosis and Functional Neurological Disorder can be tricky, especially when you have seizures. I have to work towards strengthening my spine to be able to be able to recover from the spasms, as these can go on for a long time. This can cause my muscles to contract through my spine and up in to my neck which can cause either muscle spasms continuously or a migraine headache which can go on for a while too. So working with my physio at a pace which suits me, is my only way. Due to my FND I have to ensure I don't overdo the exercise, as this can cause my symptoms to appear. I have to constantly listen to my body, and if I feel I have done enough then I just stretch.
